I'm a former professional ballerina with a passion for helping aspiring ballet dancers achieve their goals.
Born and raised in Melbourne, Australia, I gained my first professional ballet contract with Alberta Ballet (Canada) at age 19. Two years later, I became a demi-soloist with Zurich Ballet (Switzerland). I enjoyed a successful and enriching career that saw me tour the world, live and breathe my passion, and experience the indescribable joy of 'making it'.
My training was exceptional, preparing me beautifully for what I needed to do in the studio and on stage. What I lacked upon graduation, however, was the knowledge and understanding of how to actually go about trying to get a job. This is common, and many young dancers feel a little lost in this process.
I provide advice and guidance from the perspective of someone who has been there and done it, to help you approach your transition from a student to a professional with more clarity, confidence and direction. I know what it is like to be a professional ballet dancer and crucially, I know what it takes to get there.
